About

Who are we?

We’re a group of NPHS students with experience in all different types of computer programming. We’re interested and excited to bring the world of code to middle school students. We’re here to help you with our experience by finding errors in your code and guiding you along the right mindset while coding.
We are a club at Newbury Park High School. Although we utilize codecademy’s site and resources, we are not endorsed by them, nor do we take credit for the creation of their website and its materials.

Mission Statement

We want to open the door for younger students to the possibilities that computer programming offers. Our prepared material encourages students to develop logical perspectives towards problem solving, and to work in a team environment with their peers to create better coding skills. We want to show students that computer programming isn’t an abstract concept that only geniuses can understand; it’s just like learning any other language, and anyone can do it with enough passion.
